Lyrics are replete with physically powerful statements, many concerning creature mistreatment and political issues. With clear and professional production, it astonished some listeners and introduced the band's music to a wider audience. The band's final book, Last of the Sane (2001), is Earth Crisis' tribute to persons bands which influenced them. Covers of songs by The Rolling Gravel, Destructive force, Led Blimp, plus Deceased Kennedys were built-in. This was establish amusing by some, but not by other since bands such as Led Zeppelin and Slayer embody much of what Soil Crisis were next to.

In 2001, Earth Crisis played their final show at Hellfest in Syracuse, Novel York.
