Mizoguchi started live piano in 1963, at the age of 3, plus the cello in 1971. As of 1978 to 1985 he attended the Tokyo Nationwide University of Fine Arts and Music where he majored in violoncello. In 1982, at the age of 22, he had a grave transfer accident which led to his composing. As of so as to time on, he has released more than 20 albums including motion picture soundtracks, has performed in many concerts on his own or with ensembles, has been a producer intended for a variety of musicians, plus so on. In 2006, he composed the original soundtrack of Tokimeki Memorial Only Feel affection for along with Teruyuki Nobuchika.
