As of 2007, with the exception of Jay Forrest, no additional members remain, thus a name change is said to happen, thus prompting a "new group", it is unknown whether they determination play Hopesfall songs following the change as they are said to go plus record soon eager for a coil 2008 let go. Though The Infirmity of Words remains to this day the band's longest album, it has been out of turn out for many existence and is no longer acknowledged by the group on its website. Soon after the EP was released and a few member changes afterward, Hopesfall released The Satellite Years. The book conventional positive reviews, and continues to remain popular.

Previous drummer Adam Morgan returned to the band in late 2005, following Adam Baker's departure. Though, he has absent the group as after that plus was replaced by Jason Trabue. They have also announced in September 2007 that they determination be altering the band's person's name, but the name change will denote an official end to the Hopesfall era (after the change happens, it determination officially be a new band).
