However, the band was becoming increasingly disgruntled with SST due to concerns about payment and additional administrative practices. Sonic Youth decided to let go their next record on Mystery Records, which was distributed by Capitol Minutes and partially owned by EMI. The 1988 twice LP Reverie State was a dangerous achievement so as to earned Sonic Youth considerable approval.
