When Stephens conventional several requests for The New Vaudeville Band to tour he had to place together a group, since the song was recorded by studio musicians hired merely for the recording session. Merely Bob Kerr from that collection was interested, so he left The Bonzos to help Stephens shape a touring account of The New Vaudeville Group which included original session drummer Henri Harrison. The group enjoyed success for two years until the novelty wore rotten. Kerr after that shaped his own collection, Bob Kerr's Whoopee Group, which continues to do by means of Henri Harrison. The New Vaudeville Group was managed by Peter Funding.
