The philosophy of the Yamakasi, however, is that of aesthetics and complete liberty of movement from point A to point B, as opposed to parkour which focuses on efficiency of movement between point A to tip B, without the stress on aesthetics. Therefore Yamakasi perform flips and tricks, while traceurs and traceuses (parkour practitioners) does not. In Korea, a number of practitioners of parkour plus gratis organization call it as Yamakasi. The Yamakasi move to Bangkok plus battle the Yakuza plus their Thai connections who are attempting to take over the metropolis.
