Rex. At the occasion of the album's release Marc Bolan plus T. Rex were on a UK tour, supported by The Damned.
The book plus tour were notable intended for marking a go back to shape intended for the group. Dandy in the Underworld gathered the most consistently positive reviews intended for any T. Rex book in five years. The sessions had started in Los Angeles in Imposing 1976 plus carried on awaiting the finish of the day by UK studios.
The book was praised for the strength of the songwriting and some of Bolan's best vocal performances in years. The title track on behalf of one of his most ambitious autobiographical songs, was released as a single but unsuccessful to chart. Following three commercially weak albums Fine was regarded by a lot of T. Rex fans as a reply for the group.
