Strangely, despite the album's title, merely a handful of songs on it are actual hits, even though the group had additional genuine hits which do not come into view here. For a number of reason, the book also greatly focuses on the band's 1989 book The Genuine Thing, with no fewer than six out of the ten tracks in use from it, creation Epic And Other Hits a pretty strange compilation. It is generally careful a "weak" compilation, plus a lot of fans see it as a method to cash in on the success of Mike Patton. The book too contains no tracks as of King for a Daylight hours.
