The group was founded in 1993 by Zorn plus Rhyktius V. Grhabakk von Meilenwald. In autumn 1995, Smaug was replaced by Jander, plus Garvin connected as sitting keyboardist. The production of Srontgorrth, a idea album, was blemished by chaos, resultant in the departure of Jander before all the vocal tracks had been recorded. Zingultus was Jander's substitute, plus Chaos absent the group soon following the completion of Srontgorrth.
