S. P. shaped in Los Angeles, California, at first consisted of Blackie Unruly, Rik Deceive, Randy Piper plus Tony Richards. The band's debut solitary, entitled Animal (Fuck Similar to A Beast), plus its wrap were equally controversial.

The first lineup didn't last intended for extended, as Rik Deceive absent the band to link the group Steeler with (after that unidentified) vocalist Ron Keel and guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen.
